Gold bullion from the depths

A friend of mine is a scuba diver. As far as I remember, he"s always liked swimming and when he was only twelve, his parents enrolled on a scuba diving course. He didn"t want to just watch so he soon joined them. Two years later, he was already good, and now, when we are over thirty years old, he still loves it. Last summer, he went on an expedition with a group of friends. They were scuba diving in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean somewhere near the boarder between Portugal and Spain. They found a large wooden chest at the bottom of the ocean. Believe it or not, there were tens of gold bullion bars in the chest. Of course they shared the treasure between themselves and didn"t tell anyone. My friend sold his part and bought some new scuba diving equipment, a new bike, paid for his driving course and went on holiday to India. It turned out they were not far from even a bigger discovery that summer. A few months later, a German scientific expedition came across a large wreck at the bottom of the ocean really near the spot where my friend had been scuba diving. The wreck had probably sunk in the sixteenth century and it belonged to a Spanish traveller. It had been always rumoured he was a very rich man and he possessed large amounts of gold.
